This week we started our Getting into our groups and organising
ourselves by giving each other appropriate job roles was the main outcome of
this week. We had to think about who had the most effective experience and who
suites the job role better. The job roles assigned to me was hair and makeup
because I am good with styling and picking out the best outfits for everyone. I
was also picked to do the graphic designing and flat plans because I enjoy
taking pictures and editing them to look their best. We decided that the
music video for our last assignment was going to be Samanthas chosen artist
'Lij Gimour'. We decided this because we felt that a music video for his song
'hanging out' would be nice to play around with and make an interesting music
video out of it.
The second task given to us as a group was the beach combing for inspiration as a group task. In this task we was asked to search for videos that could have an influence on our music video idea on 'Hanging Out'. After looking through various artists and songs that can be repeatable to Lij we finalised our ideas on the 3 songs. It was hard as a group to finalise them simply because there was many to pick from and we had to see what we learnt from these music videos.
